Almost like you are there!

I have read multiple books about both battles and have been to both battlefields. These games really capture the effects of the terrain, poor marksmanship (both sides especially Rosebud) and decisions by leadership of both sides. To be honest I have not completely played both games through to completion. But just going through the steps of each turn really shows that you just can't say this is where Custer and Crook screwed up and I am going to make things right by doing X, Y or Z. There were reasons things didn't work out the way you wanted or intended. All in all a pretty cool couple of games.
